The inaugural Day of the Tread Bone Shaker Gravel Grinder will not be timed. All Routes will be STRAVA supported. All routes leave 20th St and soon enter the Bosque – the Cottonwood Forest that borders the Rio Grande River. Albuquerque Bosque Trail and its system of single track trails meanders through the unique habitat providing a quality ride during the fall color display.

Route distances are 7, 17 & 34 miles, and are approximately 62.35% paved and 37.64% Dirt

Start / Finish on 20th St. in Albuquerque’s Sawmill District. Participants will enjoy a post event celebration at the Sawmill Market. Sawmill Market is an artisanal food hall that celebrates culinary traditions and emerging trends alike with a diverse mix of local food & beverage venders and full service restaurants.

Friday, October 27, 2023 at Trek Bicycle Albuquerque located at 5000 Menaul Blvd NE in Albuquerque,
from 2-6pm and event day from 7am to 8:15am (location TBD).

Registration Fees

Youth  (16 & under) enjoy a reduced registration fee of $25 from 7/20 – 10/26 for the 7 mile ride.

10/1 – 10/26 = $60

17 & 34 mile
7/20 – 8/15 = $70
8/15 – 9/30 = $75
10/1 – 10/26 = $80
