Day of the Tread is a 'Day of the Dead – Halloween, themed bicycling event for cyclists of all ages and skill levels. There is adventure for everyone.

An individual or group of individuals who ride bicycles, or a group of individuals who dress up in costume and motivate bicyclists at RECHARGE ZONES, on or around the Halloween Holiday, in the spirit of the Day of the Dead tradition; (wearing sugar skulls, skeletons, costumes), in other words, having a great time celebrating the end of the cycling season. Riding for New Mexico Children & Family charities.

It takes place on Sunday, October 27, 2024 in the SAWMILL DISTRICT – 20th St. NW.
The various routes go to some of the most scenic places in the Albuquerque Metro area.

Ride Marshalls at your service! Our dedicated team is always near to support you on your ride. Look out for their special “Ride Marshal” bibs on the front and backs of their jerseys. They will be available for help with minor mechanical problems such as flats.
